A Boeing 767-300 cargo aircraft belonging to Amazon went off the runway at Miami International Airport on Sunday, video footage seen by The Jerusalem Post showed.
Amazon confirmed that the plane had “experienced an incident” while attempting to land at Miami International Airport, and that it was working with local authorities in order to determine the exact nature of the accident.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue told CBS that the plane had hit several vehicles, and that multiple people had been injured.
A ground stop is in effect at the airport, United States Transportation Department Secretary Sean Duffy announced in a post on X/Twitter.
Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava stated that local firefighters were on the scene, along with airport teams.
The aircraft had departed from San Juan, Puerto Rico, the Federal Aviation Administration noted.
